Terms Of Registration

Important Notes:

1.    This event will be conducted in accordance with the NRAA Standard Shooting Rules (SSRs), with the below match variations.See the link below for the SSRs

2.    No full metal jacket or monolithic projectiles are to be used, as required by the SSRs.

3.    Calibres must be less than 8mm, as required by the Malabar Range Approval.

4.    The event is exclusive to the Sporter Class rifles, as specified in the SSR’s.

5.    Competitors will need to ensure that their rifle qualifies as either a Sporter Production (SP) or a Sporter Open (SO) rifle, under the SSR’s.

6.    Additional information on eligible rifles is available on the NSWRA website.

7.    All rifles, attached bi-pods and rear bags will be scrutinised at the sign-in/weigh-in.

8.    Magazine loading is permitted on the Malabar Range.

9.    Muzzle brakes are not permitted on the Malabar Range.

Match Variations to the SSR’s:

1.    From when the previous shooter has vacated the firing position, each competitor will have only 3 minutes preparation time (not 5 minutes as per the SSRs).

2.    All strings are 15 scoring shots, plus 2 sighters.Only 12 minutes is allowed per string.The time commences, when the shooter indicates that they are ready after their 3 minute preparation time.This equates to just under 45 seconds per shot including 2 sighters.

3.    All shooting strings will time out after 12 minutes. Shots fired after this time will not be recorded.
